Cadman votes with the government. That means 152-152 tie, and the speaker broke it by voting in favour. BOOOO!

I'm torn, I was looking forward to an election, but would of supported the NDP-Liberals anyway. I think Cadmen is a moral vote, therefore the win is justified, but I think the Stronach vote, equally relevent is somehow tainted. It's a poor victory and there is no glory in it.

I think that the result was most unfortunate; I was rather hoping for an election next month. June only has boring elections like those of Guinea-Bissau, Bulgaria, Albania, and St. Helena.

What? You aren't interested in whether or not Guinea-Bissau elects another President who tries to become a dictator and gets overthrown in a pro-democratic military coup? Smiley

As part of reviewing the foreign policy I hate to learn a little about every country's history. In Africa, the dictators always win... one way or the other.

I can wait, I hope they delay a little so I can volunteer to a campaign and not have to spend all my time in school.

Usually, yes. In Guinea-Bissau's case, the military is a stronger proponent of democracy than the political parties are. Smiley

Here's my problem, I live in Brampton West, which is in the all important 905 block. The race was really close last time between the Liberal candidate (Colleen Beaumier) and the Conservative Candidate (Tony Clement). The NDP candidate did terribly. While I am a New Democrat I don't know if there's a point to working for a campaign that at best could get 6000 votes.

Rather Liberals or New Democrats. I'll just have to pick the better choice.

That's why I wont be campaigning in my riding (Ottawa South), but rather in the adjacent Ottawa Centre. Tough potatoes in Brampton- maybe commute to one of the Downtown Toronto ridings?
