How many congressmen don't actually live in their districts? And I don't mean they live in DC I mean their legal address is outside of their home district. My congressman, Todd Rokita (Indiana-4) is an example. He lives in the 5th district represented by Susan Brooks. (Although to be fair, he was redistricted out)

Last I checked, the residence that Virginia Foxx claimed is in NC-11.

In her last term, Michele Bachmann got drawn out of her district and was in Betty McCollum's 4th.

I know Jeff Denham with his previous district CA-19 lived outside it, but it also seems he lives outside his "new" district, CA-10, after redistricting as well.

It's a trick the establishment wing of the GOP. in Indiana use to try to keep conservatives from outside of Indy from getting those seats.

Rokita should've had to face Brooks (he would get the Tea Party support and unseat her while we in the 4th could have State Rep Heath VanAtter )

I'd be supportive of Rokita moving to the 5th district. He is a politician who I agree with very much on issues but don't care much for personally so I'd be happy to have his votes and a new congressman who I like more in my own district.

Pat Roberts is quite sketchy. He has a recliner in Dodge City, and that's it.

Tulsi Gabbard's Hawaii residence is surely in Honolulu, and not the small, rural part of it that she represents (+ the neighbor islands).

Rick Larsen lives in Lake Stevens, which is just outside the boundaries of WA-02.

I'm pretty sure that Tom McClintock still lives in Elk Grove, CA, which is not in the 4th district of California.

^^That is correct, his opponent brought that up last election. McClintock has had a history of living outside of the districts he represents, in the legislature he lived hundreds of miles away from his district. He's lived in Northern California for years.

Bill Johnson didn't when he was first elected but has since moved to Marietta.
