What if Jerry would have been president from 1993 to 2001 instead of Bill Clinton? Who would be Governor of California since 2011 if anything else remains the same?

Likelihood:
1. Gavin Newsom
2. Antonio Villagoroisa
3. Condoleezza Rice
4. Carmen Trutanich
5. William Bratton
6. Ron Dellums
7. Meg Whitman

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

John Chiang might've been able to make a run of it. He was fairly popular for fighting Ahnold's IOUs. I doubt that a Republican would follow Schwarzenegger.

I suspect it would be the same, except Gavin Newsom or John Garamendi would probably be governor right now

Jerry Brown

Brown came back to office as a mayor of Oakland after serving as governor. He didn't mind a lower office after a higher one. I think he's the type of person who would have run for governor after being president.

I think he would've been done seeking higher office because former Presidents can remain national figures.

Potential alternative Governors...
- Gavin Newsom
- Dianne Feinstein
- Whoever would otherwise have been elected Attorney General in 2006
- Antonio Villaraigosa

It's also possible that Meg Whitman would have won against a generic Democrat.
