Amazingly enough, Jeb would somehow blow it.

Sanders would probably be able to turn out the base better, and have the advantage in this match-up.

If this election is about ENERGY, and I think it is, I think Saint Bernard is at a yuge advantage over the sleepy son of the Bush Crime Family. It'd be damn close - Bush and Bernie both are pretty unelectable, but I think Bernie has the advantage.

I think is a scenario where the electoral college would be split at 269-269 and go to the House, which would award the Presidency to Jeb. Assuming Sanders/[Sherrod]Brown vs. Bush/Carson: http://www.270towin.com/presidential_map_new/maps/5rgkY.png

Are we forgetting that 55% of Americans say they would never vote for a Socialist?

Sanders is unelectable against anyone but the most extreme Republicans, and even then I'm not sure.

There was one poll where he was 59% in the general election against Trump. That's likely the highest this year for any candidate in the general election in a poll.

That's probably what will happen in a Bush vs Sanders race. The Senate would probably elect Sherrod Brown as Vice President, as the Democrats are highly favored to pick up the Senate next year regardless of who the two presidential candidates are.
