My friends, Atlasia is in serious trouble. We have no victories anymore. We're losing to Canada and South America. Our Senate has become so dysfunctional that we're forced to expel multiple Senators. The Pacific has become the laughing stock of the entire country, after a series of low turnout elections have swept a radical theocratic majority into power. We can't abide by this any longer.

I'm running to finally give the Pacific an active Senator in the Pacific. To give hope to fresh blood that they too can be winners. Because I'll be someone to take on the corrupt, stagnant establishment in Nyman. I'm running because it's time for the Pacific to have an elected official to actually be proud of, because I know the Pacific can do better than a scandal-ridden, do-nothing theocrat and a passive governor who puts the seal of approval on his tainted legislation.

We stand on the precipice of Atlasian greatness. Crush the theocrats! Join the revolution! Restore dignity to the Pacific!

My friends, we face truly harrowing news. The low-energy governor of the Pacific is a full blasted traitor. He protects a harbinger of tyranny and a cancer to reasonable conservatism and compromise that has ruined millions of lives with his immature policies, gay sex scandals, and embezzlement of government funds to take private jets across the country to regions he does not represent. He has fled this country and is attempting to curtail the rights of the few dissidents left in the Pacific after his numerous purges. He rallied the dimwitted zombies of the Pacific to "elect" the most extremist and theocratic Senator in Atlasian history.

But in this darkness there is hope my friends, and there is still an opportunity for the Pacific to reclaim its greatness. For you see, Senator Lumine, in addition to being a theocratic radical, a puppet to his extremist handles, incompetent and polarizing President, inactive, and bald, is also a traitor. He is no doubt complicit in aiding in this aberration of laws and justice and abetting in this fugitive's flight from the country. I must remind you ladies and gentlemen, that treason is an immediate disqualifier for holding national office. Given that his treason makes his candidacy invalid, and that there was no other significant candidate in the race for Pacific Senator, I am the one and only winner in this weekend's election.

I look forward to taking office next week and to restore high-energy to Atlasia's legislature.

The Pacific tried this back in 2011, if I recall correctly. Tried to have two Regional Senators, so we passed an amendment that was ratified to make such impossible.
