Yeah, my jaw literally dropped when she came up with that outrageous claim during the debate. Fiorina has such an urge to be sensationalist - she really wants to be seen as the female version of Cruz - that she can literally get herself to say and claim almost anything.

Eric82oslo,  you are so right and Hillary is a taskmaster at talking about people and using the sexist wedge,  like she did with Bernie Sanders, she had nothing to say, apart from reminding everyone in the room, that she was a WOMAN! ...We got the memo Hillary,  but nothing about what her plans are, If she wins. We are simply living in a post-fact world when it comes to these candidates and it doesn't matter because the GOP has convinced their voters that the media are all liars so you can't trust anything they say.

She only admitted it after it became ridiculous (with the sheer number of fact checkers calling her out) and she knew ABC's Radditz wouldn't let her get away with what she did on CNN a few days before, as in just pretend that the media was lying and she was right.

The problem is that Fiorina has built up a media narrative that she is a liar and exaggerator, much more than her fellow candidates. And the problem with this is that in between the debates she ends up getting more negative press than positive. Perhaps this is media bias, but she has been very bad at controlling her message which is why she gets debate bumps then falls, unlike Carson and Trump who took a hit after the last debate and then turned it around.

What was in fact the percentage of women who lost their jobs at the end of Obama's first term? With but 10 months to go, or whatever it was, the figure was 92%. How much did it go down? If it dropped like a rock, then Carly was gilding the lily, and doing it ham handedly. She could have used the right date when using the 92% number. But if the number was 77% at the end of the term, her point sort of stands does it not? If it rather miraculously dropped to close to 50%, then she just porked the pouch. But the interviewer was hopelessly incompetent in sorting this all out, and Carly thus had a possible way to wiggle out of it, without too much damage - for the moment.
