Excellent news! Edwards is definitely the better choice in this state. I kind of hope Cummings doesn't enter just to let the Edwardsmentum conquer the great state of Maryland.

Blks really wanted Mfume in in 2006 and he would of been even more supportive than Cardin on their issues. Van Hollen has lost his advantage.

^ In the three-way, he's essentially splitting the DC vote with Edwards while Cummings has the entire Baltimore side to himself. Cummings is very popular in Baltimore and and was one of the few pols to come out of the riot situation smelling good.

In the two-way, I suppose he's just being seen as a milquetoast establishment type. FWIW, living in the DC area (though on the VA side), I really haven't heard much locally about the race.
