I say Santorum, with Jindal close behind.

Looks like Graham is the clear winner and Jindal is the clear leader at the kiddie table (according to the Atlas polls); Santorum and Pataki in the mushy middle.

Santorum was defending himself the whole time and didn't do anything new or exciting, but Bobby Jindal was all rhetoric. Still, Jindal is clearly lining up with the Cruz wing of the party, and I think he can do a good job at that if starts talking about specific policy. At least Graham was funny even though he's horrific, and Pataki was above average only because of his low profile. Overall, none of the candidates did good, but I think Santorum did the worst.

I'm finding it amazing that Rick Santorum manages to LOSE the kiddie debate. What's going on here? He really was a fluke in 2012!

Jindal I think. However, I might be biased because he's probably the worst from my perpective.

All four are LOSERS and they should drop the kiddie debate if this is the field it produces (or reduce the number of slots in the main debate).

I doubt they'll bother with any more kiddie table debates after this.

Or make it bigger, and change the main debate to the top 8.

I doubt they'll do that actually.  The main debate isn't exactly being weighed down by 3rd tier candidates like Jim Gilmore, Duncan Hunter, Tommy Thompson, etc., like in 2008.  The top 10 are an interesting enough cast.  I say they'll restrict the debate to 10 candidates (and make it ~2.5 or 3 hours...if they can keep an audience that long, why not?), and leave the remainder out in the cold.

Jindal. He went hard right, got muted applause.

Graham was funny. Santorum was populist. Pataki was practical.
