https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenia

One of the world's most historic states, reformed in 1991 following the collapse of the USSR. Probably the first state to convert to Christianity, before the Romans although perhaps not before the Ethiopians. Had most of its historical territory purged of its Armenian population by the Ottoman Genocide during the first world war. Today, a small state of less than 3 million and heavily dependent on remittances from abroad, including those of its former imperial power Russia.

Below is a map showing the shrinking of Armenia

Why are relations between Georgia and Armenia so much better than those between Armenia and Azerbaijan? There's till a significant minority of Armenians in Georgia as well.

Fellow Christians, also the Azeri are Turks (the primary difference between a Azeri Turk and a "Turkey" Turk are that former are Twelvers and the later Sunni and Alevi) like the people who commited genocides on the Armenians, the Azeri also started rather brutal pognoms against the Armenians in the 80ties and Armenia occupies 12% of Azebaijan.

A better question are why the Armenian and Iranians have such a godd relationship with each others.

To be fair, there was some nasty stuff going both ways.

One of the peoples that really got screwed over by history, it's really depressing. At the very least, I seriously wish Armenia could have kept its territory from the Sevres Treaty.
