Real racists openly and proudly claim to be racist - ex: KKK, Black Panthers, American Nazis.
Calling someone racist due to disagreement with policy and over-sensitivity, while that person never claims to be racist, is a dangerous thing, because you're actually saying you know the content of that person's heart and mind. No one can make that judgement besides Donald himself.

This is among the more clueless things I've ever read on this forum.

The main issues Trump emphasizes and has made the centerpiece of his campaign have everything to do with race. He wants to take it to immigrants (damn hispanics), take it to ISIS (damn arabs), and take it to China (damn asians). Those are the biggest issues in his mind, ask him about anything else he will answer but he will move back on to those topics. Do you guys think that is pure coincidence?

I hope you're joking because if  wanting to crack down on illegal immigration, take the fight to ISIS, and defend American trade interests makes someone a racist, then most Americans are racist. I love how YOU make those leaps between his positions and racism and then act like they're some undeniable truth.

Calling Trump a "racist" is the intellectually dishonest way to avoid an honest discussion as to the pros and cons of what he (and his opponents, for that matter) are actually advocating.

Ordinarily, I'd agree with what you are saying. The left uses the race card to avoid legitimate debate and when folks are called racist it hurts them.

But Mr. Trump is engaging in a racist campaign against Mexicans. Most Mexicans, even those who enter this country illegally, are not violent people. Do I approve of people coming here illegally? No, people should do it legally.

I believe you have kids, I do not. But I can tell you if I did, I would teach my children to not engage in group blame and to call an entire group of people "rapists and drug dealers." Why would I want my President to engage in such group blame?

What about the gays? Does he have a great relationship with them as well?

I haven't met a gay yet who likes Trump - and I meet a lot of gays! Smiley

Anything that goes against the prevailing leftist ideology is "racist"

Liberals hate debating, so they just call everything they dont like "racist"

It is like communists yelling "counter revolution" to everything they disliked.

The only person Trump has a great relationship with is himself.

I would take your point of view if he brought up other issues with any sort of regularity. And he doesn't talk about defending our trade interests, he talks about CHINA singularly.   He doesn't really talk about defending our foreign policy interest beyond ISIS. His immigration proposals have been so ridiculous and stupid that the only conclusion you could possibly make (beyond him being an idiot on public policy, which could certainly be it and I'm just leaping to conclusions) is that he is vindictive toward immigrants.

And I love how neonazi bobloblaw claims that liberals hate debate when Adam Griffin inksing SCHOOLED him on immigration when he was repeating the same stupid talking point over and over again.

Has Trump really talked about ISIS that much? He and Paul are the only two Republican candidates who thought it was a bad idea to randomly invade an Islamic country. So at least when it comes to Muslims, it's hard to paint him as more racist than the rest of the GOP.

He always talks about "Taking it to ISIS", though he doesn't do so with any specifics.

He's said that he's willing to negotiate with them. Lol. He's so deluded that he seriously think they would be willing to sit down at a table and negotiate with him.

You shouldn't assume that things Donald Trump says are true because he says they're true. Obviously.
