I don't think anyone has mentioned the Iowa representative King yet. He seems very supportive of Trump in interviews (unsurprisingly, as they have the exact same views on illegal immigration).

Maybe McCain could be his running mate?

As a Republican: Marco Rubio. Balance the ticket with someone who appeals more to social conservatives, the establishment, and definitely minorities. BUT, Trump won't win the nomination. He only has any lasting appeal whatsoever with one faction: people who hate immigration, hate the GOP establishment, love populists, and don't give a damn about things like "issues." Either conservatives who care about issues will coalesce around a candidate, Jeb will win by default, or they'll find a compromise in Rubio or Walker. Trump will not win.

As an independent: his money. No, seriously. That would be the perfect way to sell his "no Fs given" attitude. Like: "I'm richer than you, boo-yah!" Again, most people won't buy that. But it's the Trump-y thing to do.
