Sanders yes, O'Malley is probably the least sympathetic to their positions considering he arguably is indirectly responsible for Freddy Gray's death by turning Baltimore into a police state.

Thankfully, most of the actually tweets with that tag seem to be either 1) meta tweets discussing the hastag itself 2) stuff talking about how dumb the hashtag is 3) people making vaguely apolitical jokes

At least in Michigan, O'Malley's numbers with blacks are almost Republican-level in terms if disapproval ratings.  So I think he'd get booed regardless of what he'd said.

Targeting Sanders and O'Malley in order to get them to discuss racial issues isn't the best strategy in the long run since Hillary still has a very strong chance of being the Party's nominee.

If by KKK, you mean was one of the few white officials to support Jesse Jackson for President, and helped him win the Vermont caucus, then yes.
