Heck Clinton was a good President, he's like Blair in the sense that sure he didn't always do the right thing but he did a lot better than Dole would have done

Just off the top of my head, DOMA, DMCA, DADT, NAFTA, Mickey Mouse copyright act, repeal of glass steagall, gutting welfare , telecomm deregulation, keeping Alan Greenspan around. I'm sure I left plenty out. He had no leadership skills, and everything he did was Republican-lite.

He picked Dick Morris as his top adviser in the 1996 election, who convinced him that he had to go total 3rd way in order to win. This is the same Dick Morris who predicted that Arkansas was safe Obama in 2008. A drunk homeless guy could have probably make a better adviser than Dick Morris.

I liked his 3rd way style, welfare reform was amazing, DADT was better then the system before it. Ill thell you something else: longest time of peace and prosperity in our history and if Bush continued his Budget policies the Debt would be payed off by 2010.

Welfare is something which gives people a 2nd chance and not something people should live on, I think we should limit welfare to people who have not opted out of the workforce or have serious health problems which limit their ability to work.

I don't know that he's "hated," but many here definitely do want to focus on the minor flaws and missteps of people who succeeded or who are famous. I think they think they've "discovered" something. There are a number of examples, really.
