Is Glenn Beck a Freedom Fighter, or a Horrible Person?

Horrible Person, and I say this as not only a liberal, but as a Mormon. He's a cheap shill for all the fears of conservative Mormons, he is treated almost as a prophet by his Mormon listeners (as opposed to the actual Mormon prophet), he whips up hatred for anything that isn't his particular brand of conservatism, and he refuses to acknowledge that Mormons can be liberals, socialists, whatever.

Also he has an idiotic and biased understanding of history, so there's that.

The problem for me is that my fellow Mormons take him VERY seriously, and treat his rants as, well, the gospel (no pun intended). If he was a Rush Limbaugh I could go "lol idiot" but his influence among Mormons is unsettling.
