Dems 270
Repubs: 268

TO me this would be possible if the map is Kasich/Rubio vs Webb/Chaffe

Perhaps Jimmy Carter runs for another non-consecutive term after it's revealed that Ronald Reagan was the gunman who assassinated JFK, and Gerald Ford was in the grassy knoll.

Agreed.

There's no possibly way for California and West Virginia to go >60% Dem while Republicans carry Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

No Democrat would win West Virginia, except maybe Joe Manchin. So that automatically decides who the Democratic nominee is.

Maybe Kasich/Rubio vs. Manchin/Nunn? Though I doubt Manchin would win GA even with Nunn as VP. And I don't see them carrying NH either.

Any Democrat who won West Virginia would also win Ohio and Pennsylvania.
