let's see what Atlas Forum thinks of fat people.

As per the rules of this board, this is not a topic about race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or class so it should be all good.

I don't have an opinion, because fat people are far too diverse of a group to pigeonhole into neat little categories like 'Freedom Fighter' or 'Horrible Person.' Beyond that, what are we even defining as 'fat'? Obese? Overweight? The idea of what a fat person is varies from person to person and is in part derived from how we view ourselves in comparison to others, what we find attractive, etc.

I will make the prediction that this thread will not end well, though.

Why?...Just why? Why would you think this a good idea?

Something that loaded but vaguely defined....so many circumstances from which the "fatness" can happen, and you're honestly trying to get it into HP and FF?

...This is just petty.

This is the only correct answer here.

As if this doesn't apply to 90% of polls here...

I don't know why they're fat. I hope they get healthier, but I know it may be impossible for various reasons including money, lifestyle, or pre-existing health conditions.

That being said, if they start talking to me about "fat oppression" and "thin privilege", they become HPs.

Probably depends on the food they ate to become a fat, IMO.

Mickey-Dee's?  HP!
Loads of authentic Mexican from Old Town San Diego?  FF!

Yes, but he'd the first to read it in secret and then later point to it as evidence that Atlas Forum doesn't inherently think being overweight is bad.
