Who wins in this matchup? Who would Clinton and Perry pick as their vice presidential running mates? How will turnout look like?

This.  I think swing states would be GA, MO, MT, and AZ.

Hillary's ceiling would involve that + Hillary winning MT.

I have a feeling this would be a Hillary landslide.  You all are giving Perry way too much hope.

This one's complex, because Perry's reputation has been damaged enough by the 2012 campaign that he would have to demonstrate major political talent, on a level he isn't currently believed to possesss, to win the nomination. There seems to be no way for him to be the Republican party's candidate without a reassessment of his talents and abilities.

It might not be enough, especially in a favorable environment for Democrats, but it's unlikely to be the second coming of Goldwater.

I see that you're giving Perry only 142 EV's, but when I talk landslide, I'm talking Reagan/Carter or Reagan/Mondale type proportions.
