In 2003, my province had a referendum to legalize Sunday Shopping. I wanted to do a small map project on it, but there is no data on Elections Nova Scotia's website. When you go on their referendum page, there isn't even an overall total posted; just the results of a few local liquor plebiscites. I am going to ask Elections Nova Scotia to post the results (especially detailed results) of the referendum online.

Have any of you had any success getting election information from the authorities? Any advice?

Yes, just email them. I almost always get a response.

Otherwise, you might have some luck at a local library.
