... Gore in the Iowa primary?

Here are some county total votes:

Harrison: 8
Crawford: 9
Monona: 7
Mills: 6
Fremont: 4
Sioux: 7
Lyon: 4
Sac: 7
Montgomery: 6
Page: 6
Taylor: 4
Ringgold: 4
Union: 9
Clarke: 7
Appanoose: 8
Worth: 7
Winnebago: 8
...

And Gore even had a viable opponent...

Probably.

It is worth noting Gore did very well, stomping Bradley by 24% of the popular vote.

Hillary does have some opposition, but she's much more popular than any of the 2000/ 2004 candidates. A guy with Webb's background might've had an impact in 2000 or 2004, but he's pretty much ignored in the current cycle.
