If the Republican Party became the liberal party but particularly anti-war, then I guess Feingold would hop on board.

I do think it would take less to get Lindsey Graham on board. If the Democrats moved even more to the center on economics and social issues, but became basically a neo-conservative party, then he would hop on board.

It would definitely require a realignment that brought the South back into the fold of the Democrats and Republicans to shift into a more libertarian kind of party.

I don't think Feingold would ever become a Republicans, but Lindsey Graham might easily become a Democrat if the Tea Partiers take over the GOP.
