No one ever mentions Bill Richardson or Ted Strickland. Both former Governors with excellent experience.

Democrats: Bruce Babbitt (AZ) / Wendell Anderson (MN)

Republicans: James G. Martin (NC) / Dick Thornburgh (PA)

Four reasonably competent former swing state governors who no one would remember.

It's pretty clear that whoever the Democrats nominate in 2016 will need to be able to strongly contest Florida, if not give the Dems the edge. Therefore, the answer is Askew/Barnes '16.

Reanimated corpse of Lawton Chiles/ Charlie Crist 2016!

Surprised me too. He's 84.

Reanimated corpse of Lawton Chiles/ Charlie Crist 2016!

Disappointingly unconstitutional.

As much experience in the Congress as Jack Kennedy did when he sought the presidency.

And as much intelligence as Jack Kennedy after he "left" Presidency.
Now, that's a little far....

I'd gladly support Reanimated corpse of of LeRoy Collins.

Didn't he discover life on Mars or something?

I'm bringing this back up. Why not Dan Quayle? He was born in the same year as HRC so the age thing isn't so bad.

He has been completely irrelevant for the last 15 years. Being elected Vice-President was probably the worst thing for him, as it ended what could have become a long and successful Senate career.
