Scott Brown is a great politician, I wish he had just run for something in Massachusetts this year. He would have beaten Coakley for Governor, and he would have won against Markey in the 2013 special, and would also have a good shot at winning in 2014 as an incumbent or even trying to unseat Markey in 2014.

Instead, he went for the riskiest option, lost, and it's hard to see him being elected to anything again.

I hope it's a sign that the mess that was 2009 - 2011 is soon behind us.

I don't think Scott Brown is a discredited joke, at least not yet.

Of course, if you're a liberal, then he always was.

Having survived MSNBC on election night, they almost have an irrational hatred for him and took a lot of jabs.  Maddow was muttering something about "he is the only person in America to lose to two women in Senate races!" -- I mean, what? lol

But usually, atleast in recent history, 2 losses in a row makes it a hard opportunity for a comeback.
He also defeated a woman in his first Senate campaign.
