This was in state court, and the ruling is stayed pending appeal. Obviously a moot point if the 10th Circuit's decision goes into effect before this case is resolved in state court, but good news either way.

Colorado would have gay marriage if electors weren't fooled by all newspapers endorsed their homophobic AG in 2010.

Shame on you, Colorado newspapers.

Wow, both a stayed federal and state ruling now. That's unusual.

Wouldn't go that far. We haven't begun to see the real political fights over the costs of their Medicare and Social Security.

Colorado now has a third stayed ruling for gay marriage in the last month.

On June 25, the federal 10th circuit legalized gay marriage for the whole circuit, but stayed it. Note that this was a Utah case.
On July 9th, a state district judge legalized gay marriage, but stayed it.
And now on July 23, a federal district judge legalized gay marriage, and put a stay until 8/25.

Meanwhile, Boulder county is marrying gays anyways, and have been other rulings in the last month regarding that.

It's amazing how many rulings there have been in the last month that affect Colorado.
