When I saw the Steelers at the top, I assumed the list was in reverse order, but the fact that the Patriots are at the bottom means that that can't be the case. A real ranking would go roughly in reverse order of this list, because the better-known a team is the more there is to hate about them. The Rams probably are the most likable team in the NFL just because nobody cares enough to dislike them.

I get hating the Steelers (jealousy Wink ) and I get loving the Steelers (normal), but, it seems to me, that if you are just indifferent to them you kind of have to respect them.  Like the Packers and to a lesser extent the Bears, Dolphins and Niners.  All teams that aren't run by dillholes, don't tend to sign dillholes to the roster and have less dillhole fans than average.

Ok, some Steeler fans are annoying sh**ts, but at least we don't wear cheese on our heads.

Who cares if teams are "likable" or not though?

Also, that article is just filled with #hottakes. Was it written by @PFTCommenter?

Jets over the Giants?  Raiders in the top ten?  Seahawks in the bottom half (seriously, the Seahawks are the #2 likable team after the Packers, this is not hard in my mind)?  Freaking DALLAS in the top ten?  The Steelers used to be super likable back in the day, but having to cheer for a rapist QB kiiinda torpedoed that.

Yeah, not so much.  It feels like even the stuff that makes sense was only put in the right place by chance. Though the whole idea of power ranking teams by "likability" is just so vapid and subjective to begin with that I guess this isn't any worse than I'd expect.

Colts, Broncos, and Bears should be higher. Raiders and Cowboys should be lower - way lower. And yeah, Jets over Giants made me say, "Huh what?"

Packers should be #1, no question. The manner in which that team survived and how beloved it is by people all over the region doesn't compare to anyone else. And there's something about Packers vs. Bears that's just pure.

The Steelers have legions of fans because of the winning and intense support around the area because of the Rooneys (particularly Art and Dan). Recent years, though, it's been very different - the soul of the team has changed (man, I'll take Cowher and his rag-tag teams over Tomlin and Ben ANY day). Of course I've seen so many Steeler games over the years that they're just part of the scenery, and right now it looks different.

Rex ryan is infinitely more likeable than anyone within the Giants organization, including their fans.

On the other hand, the Giants can beat the Patriots in important games.  The Jets?

The Jets have beaten Tom Brady quarterbacked teams more than any other NFL team. And the last important game played between the two teams was won by the Jets. :/

Huh? I was referring to ending Tom Brady's nine or ten game winning streak in Foxboro following a 14-2 season. That was the second time we beat them that season. And I would argue that team had been playing better the second half of that season than that first Giants-Pats superbowl. They haven't played at that level since (neither have the Jets or your team for that matter). Tongue

Can we at least agree that Tom Brady is a tool and the Patriots are (one of*) the easiest NFL teams to hate?

*as a Steeler fan it's real easy to hate the Ravens and anybody can hate the Raiders or the Cowboys and have a good reason or twelve.

Oh, I agree with you on that for sure.  The Patriots are the only team I dislike more than the Giants.

Kansas City Purple heart

I really don't understand Oakland at #10 - granted, they have been pretty awful lately and aren't a threat, but I thought everyone hated them?

Yeah, I didn't really get that either.  I can understand loving them if you're from the area or are into 80s hiphop, but past that, I assumed everybody hated them.

It's important to remember that this article is based off of absolutely nothing. It's dumbed down click-bait garbage for the same type of mouth breathing fan that ESPN chases after with its sensationalism. It's really a futile, meaningless exercise.

You really want to include the Dolphins in that group? They are literally one of the worst run franchises in the league and the "bullying scandal" last year featured a fair amount of "dillholes."

So it's exactly like this message board?

I appreciated that it wasn't a slideshow, but I didn't agree with that article at all. Granted, it might be somewhat accurate.

Teams I've always found likable:
Packers, 49ers

Teams that I sorta like for some reason:
Chiefs, Colts, Broncos, Saints

Teams that I root against:
Patriots, Redskins, Buccanneers, Cardinals

Teams that I hate with the fire of a thousand suns:
Cowboys, Steelers, Giants

This is the NFL. If you aren't #32 on this list, you're doing it wrong.
