100% for me.  Also, I don't dick around like that American politician, who tried to pretend, for the sake of the audience, that he was chewing on his fingernails (a much, much worse offense, imho!)  I prefer the style of that Australian dude who simply ate it and then got on with his business.

Indeed, and in the anglophone world it's a major political issue.  I am considering voting for Tom Wolfe for governor, but I need to find his views on earwax eating before I can decide.

That's a pretty low threshold.. disgusting to me brings to mind much more vile things. Here is a list!!!

Ewww: A worm, dancing on the pavement after a light spring shower
Icky: Eating ear boogers*
Yuck: Accidentally touching a streak mark on someone else's underpants
Disgusting: Licking a stranger's used band-aid found in the gutter
Vile: Live maggots dripping, wringling, out of your sinuses into your nose
Abhorrent: Mung and that

Just noticed this, by the way.  Glad I did, too, because I needed the distraction.  I could think of at least seven responses to politicallefty's post, and six of them would probably earn me a few points.
