The DNC is looking to impose these dates for the 2016 primary calendar:
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2014/05/2016-presidential-primary-dates-taking-shape/Feb. 1: IA
Feb. 9: NH
Feb. 20: NV
Feb. 27: SC
Mar. 1-Jun. 14: the remaining primaries and caucuses
However, this is basically a fantasy. The DNC has done this the last couple of cycles as well: Impose specific dates for the four early states, but the early states end up going off and doing their own things instead, because one or more of the other 46 states ends up leapfrogging ahead of their window, and IA/NH/NV/SC then move up their contests as well, in order to keep up.
Expect the same thing to happen this time. Florida shouldn't be a problem anymore, as they've moved back to Super Tuesday on March 1, but there'll be other states that'll get in the way, causing Iowa and New Hampshire to move into January. Arizona and Michigan, for example, are scheduled to vote on the last Tuesday of February, and have shown no interest in moving….at least not yet.
