As Preston has moved on to Secretary of the Treasury, the Southeast has been without a magistrate, but no longer.
Today I'm proud to announce the appointment of JAKE as the new magistrate for the SE.

I thought Jake was taking a hiatus from fantasy politics for a while?

Edit: Actually I think we all thought that of our new Defense Secretary too.  Oh well.....

I believe John Dibble (and Preston, too?) had to be confirmed in the initiative election before taking office.

You are correct, King.  There will be a vote on this in April.

Yep, according to Article 1, Clause 11 of the Southeast constitution.

Didn't Jake say he was leaving fantasy politics just last week?

Just a note to the Govenor - I'd advise that you ASK if a person actually wants the position before you actually announce they are going to take the position. If you did, well, great then. If not, well, now you know.
