I've always suspected that he was, as Al once put it, a certain "irritating twat" who came back for some time. Despite suggestions from others that it wasn't him, I never could be fully persuaded to believe it. The fact that he disappeared suddenly as well didn't help those suspicions.

Or maybe he was just a kid who was going through a rough patch and decided to leave. We'll probably never know.
