Predictions?

I'll go big, and say 6.7 million.

Are we including the people who apparently will enroll but not pay a premium?

5.5 million this year.  Under the target, but pretty good if you adjust for the fact that the website didn't work for the first 25% of the enrollment period.  It is what it is.

It will of course rise over the next few years, and the actual number of people have now have health insurance is close to 3 times that.  Exchanges are only a piece of the pie.

The seven million number was also paid/unpaid, considering that a significant number of plans do not actually start until after the enrollment deadline hits.

Harry, hhs announced a Sunday I believe that they had crossed 5 million. According to acasignups.net they're at 5.3 million right now, and with some data not included. So, the number will probably be in the 6s.

Cool website.  Does it also track people who are finally able to sign up for insurance with their employer?  A lot of groups used to discriminate against people with pre-existing conditions, but I know that was illegal in some states, possibly a lot of them.

I don't believe they do. I'd imagine the data on that would be near impossible to get.
