The cohost of Morning Joe and possible 2016 candidate is a FF in my book.

He is better than nearly all other GOP 2016 candidates.
Anyway, FF.

I don't think there's a better window into Serious Personism on cable news than Morning Joe.

First of all, he is involved with Mika. We all know that. The sexual tension on that show is so thick you could cut it with a knife. They did a lecture tour that stopped in Vero and shared a hotel room according to rumors about town (source-people I know who live there, but its believable enough.) Nothing wrong  with it (they are both divorced IIRC) but that would hurt any potential Scarborough campaign right off the bat.

Their relationship is of course not as important as their attitudes. They seem like the popular extroverted couple in an upper-middle class public high school. Joe’s the typical jock, and Mika the cheerleader. Everyone pretends to like them and they somehow manage to get extremely high grades much to the shock of the introverted nerds (Pat Buchanan?). The kinda students that people like me love to hate. But Joe and Mika are celebrities at the core, and are always looking to be edgy and reasonable at the same time, which is probably why Scarborough is now suddenly a moderate. He was a Buchananite congressman in the 1990s.

Sure, Scarborough is a FF. He endorsed Ron Paul, he is reasonable, he’s well spoken and articulate enough, but at the end of the day, he is just another talking head who thinks he is the cats pajamas.

As far as Republicans go, he's not that bad. I'd never vote for him, but I do have a lot of respect for him. If anything, his defense of Chris Christie has been pretty annoying as of late.

I didn't know he was involved with Mika but I could see them being together because they have good chemistry on the show. Come to think of it she was with him when  he was a doing a bookstore appearance a few months ago and C-Span televised it.
