Oh. What commentary is that? I don't mean this in a hostile way, I'm just a bit surprised since I didn't think I was particularly notable when it came to moderation.

I don't think many people understand how lucky we have it here. Even taking into account recent actions, and the entire reign of Inks, this forum is still less "moderated" than most other forums and you have a greater freedom of expression here. You may want there to be more, and there was more freedom previously, but let's keep things in perspective.

Exactly the bolded part. There are many forums where Snowguy would have been instantly permabanned for his last two posts in this thread. As they say you don't know what you have until it's gone but complaining on a private internet website about what its owner wants is basically the same as inviting people into your house and then complain when they trash the place and start knocking down walls.

Yeah, it's pretty clear most of the fan bois have been on 0 other internet message boards before.  Of the MBs I've been on with more than a few dozen regular posters, this one is BY FAR the most lenient when it comes to banning trolls and troublemakers.
