When I was in Toronto on the Corner of Bloor Street and Spadina Avenue (very near the University) there were regularly LaRouchites camped out. I didn't approach them, which is something I now regret, but I do remember them having poster proclaiming Obama as a leader of that great beloved conspiracy vagueness, the New World Order. One had Obama's face superimposed to a Hitler Moustache, another one more bizarrely had Obama dressed in what looked like an SS uniform next to Prince Philip with a captain above "Prince Philip to Obama: You're the One".

So yeah, a little bit off-kilter I say.

I was just kidding actually they hand out his stuff on my campus and none of it is about Jews. Mostly about the "international elites". They even had a jewish member once. They are kind of lefty anti-racist types but they are right about the whole international power structure.

Which, as you have so excessively explained, is all about Jews.

The thing about the LaRouchists is, the actual content of their conspiracy theories doesn't change much depending on whether Republicans or Democrats are in power, so superficially it can seem as if they're of the opposite orientation to the party in power - they seem leftist when they have booths in Central Park saying "impeach Cheney" and rightist when they go to town halls comparing Obama's public health insurance to Naziism. But really what they are is just insane.

He's quite right-wing culturally, IIRC; he believes that homosexuality is somehow a symptom of modernity, or so I've read on the Internet. But he's economically left-wing.

Basically, I think of him as the logical extreme of populism, complete with a conspiracy mythos of the sort that populists are wont to embrace.
