Democrats should obviously counter with a marijuana legalization ballot measure. That'll fire up the kids.

Are the kids concentrated in the endangered districts tho'?

Better find some issue to motivate the Mexicans and the working class Asians.

Create a fake ballot initiative that wants to overturn the California DREAM Act.

The real answer is that Democrats already have their GOTV issue: immigration reform.

Problem with that logic is, there aren't a whole lot of seats left for Republicans to pick up and they'll be leaving two of their own most vulnerable Assembly seats open next year. And they are almost guaranteed a lost in SD-16.

States with Democratic supermajorities should really work on passing things like mail-in ballots, same day registration, ect.

The sad truth in this is that the Democrats might not have to create the fake ballot initiative-my party will do it for them Tongue.

We've had the first for a while, and will have the second for the first time next year.

The DNC should definitely start working on making the Obama GOTV machine permanent. It is possible, it just requires a few people getting their act together.
