The Houston Chronicle was waxing poetic about the halcyon days of Kay Bailey Hutchison today (and saying the editorial board was sorry it made the mistake of endorsing Cruz last fall). No doubt if she were still in the Senate, she would be one of the key architects of a deal. Of course, if she were still in the Senate, Ted Cruz would not be and this whole exercise in futility would never have happened.

I usually did not agree with Sen. Hutchison but once Cruz got to the Senate I found myself desperately wishing she was back.

I really want to know who this was.

I feel like it was either Lindsey Graham or John McCain.

I was impressed with Collins during the whole process.
