I've heard him being compared to Joseph McCarthy. That might be the best comparison right now.

It's amazing how someone can be so thoroughly disliked and downright hated. He's a troll that managed to get elected to the US Senate. Unless and until Republicans can get their act together, we're likely to see more of his type elected to Congress.

Most teabaggers are, yes. Hence their opposition to letting poor people go to the doctor.

Ted Cruz is representing Texas the same way Bernie Sanders represents Vermont. Texans are very against Obamacare and Ted Cruz is being their voice in Washington. Please stop with this partisanship.

It isn't really partisanship.  Texas has an unusually sociopathic culture even for the US.

Can you cite this? If not, what makes you say this?

What percent of Texans are against Obamacare from the right as of today?  60% maybe?  And what percent of Texans hate Obamacare with as much vitriol as Ted Cruz?  Maybe 25% have been that successfully scammed?  I don't think he's exactly a good representation of Texas...

sociopath |ˈsōsēōˌpaTH|
noun
a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience.

From his recent actions and what I know of his history, I think this description is surprisingly close. Lean yes.

And we should also be asking what percentage of them know what Obamacare actually is.

The sociopathic tendencies of his constituents is no excuse for his own sociopathic behavior.

A couple of posts here have been reported... Certainly a thread that consists of little but calling entire states and wings of the political spectrum as 'sociopathic' with little substantive discussion is unwarranted. Let's raise the level of discussion here to something more becoming of Atlas Forum as an educational website.
