Would the the Democrat, Scott McAdams take advantage of his opponents ethical issues, or would the Republican lean of Alaska carry the Republican, Joe Miller through?

FYI, I think McAdams wins 51-49, as the Miller campaign's scandals lead to his collapse, however the state's GOP lean keeps this race close. Ultimately though I believe Murkowski's withrdrawal leads to a Democratic pickup.

I'm not sure.  It could have gone either way, but I think that Miller probably wins.  He got 12% more than McAdams IRL, and many Murkowski voters were mostly conservative Republicans, but preferred the mainstream Murkowski over the the more extreme Miller.  I would guess that they still would have picked Miller over the liberal mayor of Sitka..

Joe Miller would've been in the senate then.

This is 2010. Joe Miller wins handily.

Yeah Miller wins. If Murkowski declined to run and the Dem candidate was strong, he probably could have narrowly beat Miller, or at least made it close, but McAdams was a weak candidate.

Joe Miller wins 53-45. It's considered shockingly close, but McAdams never had a shot.
