The Left and the moderate/conservatives. It's just the GOP/Freedom/Union v. Democrat/UL/Farmer Labor, with independents going in where they fit. The parties align so much and rarely actually fight each other that we are right back where we started, in the two party system. It's now groups, not parties.

The reason that the parties do not fight, in my view, is that the Democrat, UL, and Farmer Labor parties are basically all offshoots of the AFDNC, and the Union, Freedom, and GOP are afraid to fight eachother because they cannot obtain the Presidency if they do.
