Dog, with cat in a close second.

I would never keep an iguana for a pet.

A cat would be the easiest to take care of, but if I had the living space, I would get a dog as well.

Iguana, though I do like my mental image of me standing on a hill with a flannel shirt on and a huge brown dog on a leash--which I'm holding by or near the collar. Also, cats can be cool. Iguanas are just chill though and take little effort.

I am not an animal person, but I grew up with cats so I know all you need to do is feed it and clean its s**tbox. One of those.

None, altho my nephew had a pair of iguanas, one of which, Clark, died fairly quickly and the other, Lewis, live a long life.  My oldest sister's family has had several cats and dogs over the years.  I had a guinea pig while growing up and my second oldest sister was into gerbil raising for a while.

If forced to have one of the three options, not a dog as they are higher maintenance pets unless you leave them outside in the Oklahoma sun.

I think I would choose a cat, a dog as a close second, but I would like two of each animal I have so they have a friend and aren't alone. Two cats would be much easier than two dogs because dogs require a lot of stuff, while cats just eat, poop, and sleep. I'm not a huge fan of Iguanas though.

Dog, easy.  I've been around dozens of cats, and only a few of them have NOT been pains in the ass.  Our cat, Stormy (named after the character from SeaLab2021), is a great cat.  She eats all the neighborhood bunnies, but is very docile around us.

I think cats are a lot easier than dogs. Most people I know with dogs have ones that are very high maintenance.

Ahem. Wink
