Hello fellow Pacificans,

I have been an active Senator serving the needs of our regions for these last few months. My main priority is expanding on the personal liberties and privacy that we enjoy in this nation of ours. I proposed the Genetic Privacy Act which looks to be sailing through the Senate. I have also been a stalwart advocate for liberalizing our drug laws and instituting common sense measures as opposed to failed policies like jailing drug users. I believe this will be a big topic of discussion in the coming Senate and this is why I am once again running for the Senate.

Please use this thread to ask me any questions you would like or to propose any new ideas. Thanks for your support!

I will absolutely endorse you for re-election, as you have been a staunch defender of civil liberties and privacy, two issues I care very deeply about.

I do have a question for you Senator: Do you have any ideas on Game Reform?

I have always been of the opinion that elections are the cornerstone of this game. Some will disagree with me on that I am sure. Anyways, I think having more elections, and letting the citizens engage in the lawmaking process with initiatives and letting citizens repeal laws is one way to have a more engaged citizenry.

Moreover, I am not one of those who thinks this game is in some desperate need for change. We are still having very high turnout in elections and the Senate is still chugging along. It would be better if there were less inactive people in offices, but that has been a part of the game for a long time now. I am always open to ideas, but I don't see a lot that needs to be changed currently.

I am retracting my endorsement because I will be seeking the Pacific senate seat just to make this election fun. I wish you luck senator.

There is a good debate going on right now about drug policy and where to draw the line. My opponent buys into the argument that legalization will automatically lead to greater drug use and I wholeheartedly disagree with that. There is no evidence to suggest that legalization leads to greater use, it is greater societal acceptance that leads to greater use. We must distinguish between the two. Yes, in the real world greater acceptance of Marijuana use has led to a much stronger legalization movement (along with greater use), but it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. In Portugal they legalized all drugs without increasing social acceptance of its use and actually running an informational campaign against drug use. The result is that abuse of hard drugs is down by half.

Sbane how do you feel about the evisceration of your region?  Do you have any statement on the matter you want to make?

Sorry for the late response, but I have been busy the last few days.

What has happened in the Pacific is absolutely ridiculous and I am wholeheartedly opposed to it. We must use all resources at our disposal to restore the region and kick out the rebels. I pledge to do whatever is in my power to achieve that end. They might want to destroy the game but there are others out there who still enjoy it. If they don't like it, they should just leave.

Also everyone, please remember to go out and vote. Unfortunately for Pacific residents, voting for federal offices is all they have left.

Hey Citizens of the Pacific!

Keep in mind that this poor man now has like 20 PMs in his inbox that he has to read through when he gets on, one of which is eighteen paragraphs and in yellow text.

So if you haven;t voted for him yet, I would strongly recommend you do so. He is going to be suffering in pain and it is all for you.
