I'll never forget this game - http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2013/04/09/desean-jacksons-miracle-punt-return-voted-nfls-best-play-ever/

Unfortunately, everything else that season was totally forgettable.

OMG. Not even serious - that's CBS Philadelphia. Deion Sanders made routine plays that top that, especially in his Prime (pun intended) in the early '90s. Never mind Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, Jerry Rice, Walter Payton, and oh, what's the difference. The Eagles crowd is, of course, quite notorious for this sort of thing. The die-hard Steeler crowd has a bad reputation for "homerism,", but they pale when compared to the die-hard Eagles crowd.

...citing a poll conducted by NFL.com. Thanks for the call though.

It should have gone to The Catch (Montana to Dwight Clark), Immaculate Reception, Music City Miracle, or even the David Tyree catch, as much as that last one pains me.

Maybe, but the franchise still sucks.  The Canaries make the Cowboys look like a great franchise.

At least the Eagles have made it to the Super Bowl/won multiple playoff games within the past decade.

That may be true, but how many rings do the Eagles have vs. how many rings do the Cowboys have?  Last time I checked, it's a shut out so far.  5-0 Cowboys.

Winning Super Bowls decades ago doesn't make you a great franchise today.

I don't care either way but the Eagles are a respectable franchise and have been far more relevant within the past decade.

The Cowboys will still probably win another Super Bowl before the Eagles get their first.

Come on, this play is top ten. I don't know if I could pick a number one but this play was epic.

It's not the best play, but Bettis going through Urlacher will always be a favorite of mine.

Not with Antonio Romo and Jason Garrett.

Of course, now that I said that you can thank me for their upcoming Super Bowl victory next year.

Also, to go back to your previous point, by your standard the Oakland Raiders must be an excellent franchise.

I like this one better.

As a Patriots fan, I'll even admit this should probably have been the winner.

I love Desean's play but yeah, I agree that this is probably the best.
