I can still prepare stuff and such, but Duke has to do all the official business. So I can still make the posts that I normally do, but I instead of starting the vote at the end it would say, "Duke may commence vote on said motion to table".

However of course, you need to get a second first.

You're not willing to? The previous motion failed only because you had computer issues. (Or, perhaps, because certain Senators didn't bother to vote. Tongue)

I forgot that I could do that myself. Tongue I am kind of use to being "above the fray" and leave it to the more aggressive elements to make such "aggressive actions" if you know what I mean. Tongue

It might just be easier at this point to go with a final vote though, as opposed to either withdrawal or tabling.

NAY

You can call 24 hours on vote changes, Duke

I would recommend Federalist Numbers 46-50 in which Madison makes the exact same case that I made, much more succinctly that the very preservation of Seperation of Powers itself is only possible through violations of such in the strictest sense that faciliate the necessary checks and balances to keep one branch from over powering the others. Be mindfull he uses the term "Departments" as a stand in for "Branches" though.

You have to vote like I did when the Midwest Senator's bill is at vote. Its an insult otherwise.

That is the risk you take when half go big, and the other half would insist on being boring. Tongue

I expected Snowstalker would have a giant green Aye for one, no enthusiasm for his own idea even.
