Lol, that was fast. I mean, we identified him as the lowest-hanging fruit left in the Senate just minutes ago.

Tester's office has a direct line to this forum.

Hmmm.  McCaskill just announced her support, and now Tester does.  Both were just reelected to the Senate from mostly conservative states.  Now they both come out when they're safe in the Senate for 6 years.  What a coincidence!

Actually, I don't begrudge them too much for not coming out in their reelection bids.  I'm glad they won, and that they are still in the Senate.

It should be noted that Tester's son is openly gay. Probably one reason for his support

Montana and Missouri will both have majorities in support of gay marriage by 2018.

At this point, any remaining thunder left on this issue has been stolen. If you're a senator, you really don't need to bother at this point because you're just going to look like you're pulling a "Me too!"/"This is for posterity so 50 years from now, I don't show up on the list of senators who didn't support gay marriage"

How 'bout if the Senate just convenes and Harry Reid says, "Anyone else who is in favor of same-sex marriage, raise your hand."
