Highlights:

-Sales tax is dropped from 6.875% to 5.5%.
-Exemption on clothing items is lifted for clothing items over $100.
-Creates a new tax bracket of 9.85% for couples making over $250k and individuals making over $150k.
-Increases the tobacco tax 94 cents a pack.
-Increases spending from $36.8 billion to $37.8 billion.

Since the 2012 elections, Minnesota has an all-D legislature and a D governor, so I can't see why it wouldn't be...

Since the 2012 elections, Minnesota has an all-D legislature and a D governor, so I can't see why it wouldn't be...

Democrats aren't exactly the most effective party when it comes to passing bills...

The DFL is quite a bit more competent than the federal Democrats. Also remember state legislatures don't have things like the filibuster.
