There's a lot of culture in Athens. Me and my family took vacation there after i graduated from high school.  Music and sports is definitely a big thing there. Gotta check it out.

Being a college county in the middle of that sea of horrors in NE Georgia qualifies it for Freedom County automatically.  I don't care if the college is the Northeastern Georgia School of Driving like a Woman.

Freedom County. Athens has an enjoyable nightlife, a great music scene, and a great hipster feel not found anywhere else in the state (except maybe a few neighborhoods around Decatur).

It's a freedom county for sure.

Athens Clarke County is that little blue dot in NE Georgia. Must be a lonely life



But it's a fun place whatever your politics may be. I think it's one of the best places to spend your young, wild and free years.
