Looks like 2018 will be the year unless Boozman unexpectedly retires in '16.

so what exactly does the Arkansas Democratic party do that keeps them viable statewide? If I recall Mike Bebee won by a landslide in 2010 while other congressional dems there got creamed. What issues do they really push?

The new House Speaker, Davy Carter, just left his day job, at a bank, fueling speculation that he might run.

Apparently Womack is still thinking about a Senate run, dunno if that's been confirmed or not. Thus far Cotton has been leaning no in his public statements but no Shermanism.

I think Womack will run for the senate, most rep's in state feel imo that the gov's mansion can't be picked up until at least 2018.

So Womack for Senate, but Hutchinson or Darr might win the gubernatorial. I'd prefer they left that alone and let Cotton take out McDaniel in 2018.

It looks a lot of strong Republicans might be passing on 2014. I'm actually somewhat surprised considering how far to the right the state has moved over recent years. Are Republicans focusing more on the gubernatorial race or the senatorial race? I can't say I'd mind Pryor getting a pass, even if it meant losing the Governor's Mansion (which is practically useless when a simple majority in the Legislature overrides a veto).
