Christie/Daniels pulls a landslide victory (in the context of our hella divided times). Biden does have charisma, but he also is a gaffe-machine, and people are very prone to not taking him seriously. He might have a surge of support due to the debates against most candidates, but Chris Christie successfully blocks that considering he's as aggressive and charismatic. The running mates also cancel eachother out: both fairly competent, and fairly boring. If Warner were on the ticket, they would win Virginia outright, but Kaine isn't nearly as popular so they lose it narrowly.

My prediction, being generous to Biden:

Christie/Daniels: 53%  330 Electorals
Biden/Kaine: 45% 208 Electorals
Other: 2%

Assuming all things are equal for both candidates (no late breaking scandals, no crisis that damages the incumbent VP, etc.) this would be a close race and could go either way.  Yes, Biden makes gaffes, but I think their impact is usually overestimated.  Most people who complain about his gaffes are unlikely to ever vote for him in the first place.  In any case, it would be a close and exciting race.

Here is my map showing a narrow Biden win.

Biden/Kaine: 287
Christie/Daniels: 251

Both candidates would certainly make a bunch of flubs, though Biden more than Christie. Christie should easily win this race.

I will say, I highly doubt Daniels will be on the ticket in 2016. His new role as President of Purdue signifies that he is done with politics.
