People, you need to do something about this...there can't be like 5 different regional referenda and stuff every week. The Pacific are having so many they're getting finished before I have time to see them and them coming up with new ones all the time!

You need to figure something out here. One thing we can do is create a unified regional proposotions/initiatives thread for all of it or just not have them stickied. But this is becoming way too much. Part of it is a political decision though, and not mine to make.

I think the remedy for this is to ask Dave for another board.  This one to be strickly and election board.  The present Atlas Fantasy Elections board can be the Atlas Fantasy Discussion.  Then Gustaf can sticky a Regional Elections thread at the top without cluttering the front page of the board.

Part of the problem is that the Pacific and the Northeast both have open legislative assemblies and therefore have the possibility of legislation at ANY time. The other 3 regions don't have this and therefore all their votes just get bundled into one thread per region per month, and they generally all fall at the same time (i.e. third Friday of the month).

The main problem is the Pacific, the Northeast is not cluttering the board with threads.

Here's my proposed solution. Similar to Gustaf's we have a thread for all the regional propositions stickied. Then inside that thread there will be links to other threads that have a list of links to all the proposed legislation in them.

Take a moment to read that its slightly completcated but it makes sense.

The Midwest is best, we only have one thread every 4 months Wink

Another idea for the Pacific would be to have a legislative session, or a week each month dedicated specially for proposing and voting on legislation.  We could also give the Governor power to call a special 3-day Special Session to vote on any important plans he may have.

I think Wildcard's would be the best for now, unless Dave gives us a sub-forum for voting like the Constitutional Convention uses.
