I know he'll be fairly old and would lose, but he seemed to enjoy it this time and loved being back in the spotlight. I think he might try it just to lecture the media some more during the twenty or so debates.

The primaries damaged his brand. And hurt his ego.

He'll try to regain some prestige and return to elder statesman.

Oh, Gosh I hope not.  The GOP needs to stop fielding Bozo's cousins.  They've had poor choices the past two cycles.

Sure, but only if he's still alive in 2020. That's about the time he'll be needing another few tens of millions to spend on wife #4.

Drudge has reported he is running for the open senate seat from The Moon in 2014.

No. His financial empire collapsed after he left to run for President. He still has a core base, but it is sorta like Huckabee 2012 (though less) where Romney was considered the runner up of 08 and next in line as Santorum possibly can be considered for 2016.

Too old. And he'll have been out of office for too long.

Plus, some of his supporters in the primary will have died.

Nope, he will probably try to do an image repair, but he kinda self destructed in 2012, he has high unfavorables, he will be older, and the fact he behaved like a sore loser this year will drag him down.  If he had gotten out of the race when he was out of it, would have had some goodwill but the "all the way to Tampa" agenda hurt him with the party.
