To rebut the Obama thread, because it is still very possible for Romney to win.  What will be your reaction if he is declared the winner?

I will be slightly disappointed, but resolve to get behind him to try to get something done.  As I said in the Obama thread, I will declare the 2016 race open for business.

I would make sure they counted the vote right.

Its like when your football team scores a touchdown, you have to take a moment to make sure there are no flags or a hand on the white chalk (thank you, Dez Bryant).

I will be glad and relieved, that all Obama's bull-sh**t will be at an end; have a bottle of champagne on ice, not only to celebrate Romney's victory, but winning my bet and then I will light up a cigar.

For a point of reference. Hogan is CNN. I'm Ric Flair.

I'm honestly not sure. I can't imagine it'll be good. I think I should be able to retain my composure on here but I might break down in front of my meatspace friends, especially when I talk to my best friend in Florida who's working for the Obama campaign. I don't cry very elegantly.

I don't understand these threads.  The networks all tend to project the winner in unison.  Why single out CNN?

I'll react probably just SLIGHTLY less devastated as when I found out my ex-fiancee was cheating on me and leaving me.

Yup.  No one did the face flop as good as Flair could.  It's a shame that young people today don't get to see what wrasslin' used to be like.  I grew up watching Georgia Championship Wrestling and Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling back in the late '70s in the final days of the territory system.

Why do these threads all talk about CNN?  Have I suddenly fallen into 1995 when CNN was relevant?

For me, anyway, CNN is far better than the partisan hackery of Fox News and MSNBC.  At least CNN makes an appearance of being neutral (they're probably leaning left, but less so than MSNBC).
