Looking at the polls, it looks to me like the tipping point for Romney winning the presidency is lower then the tipping point for Republicans capturing the senate. If the PV is close I could see it.

It would certainly be an interesting 2/4/6/8 years. For one thing the Tea Party would be discredited(the Reps would have won the senate if not for them)- and on top of that Romney wouldn't be able to repeal Obamacare. And if the senate Dems decided to adopt the Republican strategy of the last 4 years(focusing on discrediting the president above all else), he probably wouldn't be able to get anything meaningful through the senate at all. Limited to executive authority to get stuff done.
